| At Rockdale Lutheran Church we are a family. All
Christians are God's family, and each Christian church is a part of that
whole family of God. But for us, being family means even more than
that. Like many families we have a long history, with cherished
traditions. While we rejoice in our past, we also look forward to our
future. We are a family quite literally. In fact, most of our
members are traced to three or four extended families. But we are an
open family, one which welcomes others to be a part of our Church family.
We are a small church. We know each other. We care about each
other. That is what being family means to us. At God's house, at
God's table in Rockdale, there is always room for one more.
